Hi I went up to the bike shop with the Spark plugs I had just freshly pulled out of the TRX. It was an NGK BP6E .
I asked the bike shop to grab me another couple and they didnt have any BP6E 's in stock so we had a look in the NGK book to see if there were any alternatives and I was somewhat surprised to find out that the reccomended plug (for an Australian delivered bike) is the DPR8A-9 . The last people to change the spark plug on my bike was a bike shop and that is obviously the spark plug they have fitted.
Is it OK to keep using the BP6E or should I put in two of the DPR8EA-9 ?
Is price the only reason that plug would have been fitted by the shop ? I'm a bit puzzled

Tyres are evil and must be punished

The BP6e is the wrong plug for the TRX - can't imagaine any reason why a shop would fit them
