Dahhh, it wasn´t the TPS

Post by Killerwhale » Mon Sep 22, 2008 7:13 pm

So, there where no fault on my TPS. After having a while off the TRX i put the rest together last night and has been out on the run in of new cams and trying out the new R1 fork.
Still behaves the same, increased revs in gear and put it to neutral revs go down to idle.
Swapped to my other CDI with mod and problem gone.....WTF!!

....ohh, ticks a bit in the valves so i have to get bigger chims ASAP....regardless of that i think i´ve got a couple of ponies from the "new" head/portjob 8)
Wouldn´t it be just typical to get 98,8hp

Probably never going to find out what causes this phenomenon so i´ll just stick with the TPS mod and be happy that the bike pulls much cleaner from 2k rpm´s in 2nd gear!!
Only had it up to 8k rpm´s yet (new cams not shimmed within specs) but i really felt it had more to deliver, can´t wait to dyno it! :-)
