if i book my bike in for a dyno run do i have to take anything else i would like them to set carbs up properly cheers

have you asked them for a price for all this work ?? you do realise it will be quite expensive for them to set your carbs ,, it is quite a bit of time for this job ..let us know how you go on

have you got any spare jets do the carbs feel close to ok if so I would,nt pay any more than £100 that would be for three runs 1st to see were they need air/fuelcorrected 2nd to see how the changes affected the air/fuel 3rd final run should be spot on a dyno run only takes about 5 mins changes to the carbs on the trx without airbox is very simple about 10-20 mins

bike is not that far from right, pulling away from a standstill is like pulling away in second gear but once rolling its ok. i dont have any other jets. i asked the question in case i had to buy some. i will ask about prices later idont have the cash yet.

they should have jets in that case they are not expensive, what size is your slow air jet, what needle pos are you running

I was wondering much the same thing - Moorespeed have a dyno not too far from me and as I'm such a tightfist I don't want to have to invest in a load of jets 'just in case' and was hoping they'd be able to tell me by how much I'd need to adjust compared to the present set-up. If anyone's interested though, I found a guy in NZ who was selling all sizes of FCR compatible MJs - I bought a couple for the KTM and it worked out at just over a £2 per jet delivered..

I'd expect any decent dyno centre to only charge you for the jets you end up with, not the ones they test with.
