ok so bought a rentec rack on flea bay thinking hey they simply bolt in now cant get the seat catch to lock down anyone fitted one that can tell me whats the prob?

at a guess you need to take the latch off the seat and pack it out with washers under the bracket.

The seat catch is made longer it should have been supplied with the rack but if its off evil bay you wouldn't have got it, I'll measure my catch if it's any help, you could make one up,let me know .

Posted on here before, my spare seat has a longer latch!, never been fitted with a rack as far as I am aware though.

yeah any measurements or pics would be very helpfull so i can have somthing knocked up to suit Thanks

From memory its about a quarter of an inch longer, maybe a bit more!, whereabouts are you?
