Hi all, been 'at it' over the Easter break. got the paint off the rims to show off that lovely machined finish, comes up a treat with a good polish. think I'll do the spokes black.
Then I thought 'lighten' up the back end.I might get rid of the rear mud guard. question, is the under tray and guard all one piece? I don't want to cut up a good part so I might remove it altogether, fabricate something to retain the use of the 'boot' and go for a hugger, Are there any locally made in Oz?.
Nuther thing, got the fairing off for a nosey, and replace some bulbs, noticed there were no wires in the bit for the oil light, Am I missing something, do the actually have one? if so where is the sender. Just checked the posts for fitting a gauge, probably end up doing that.

:D Daniel look at the pics of my bike, I cut the mudguard off just under the mounts for the rear number plate, leaves the rear under tray in place. Stanley knife removes excess no problem.

You can use a RGV 250 straight swing arm model huger , that will fit with a 2 simple brackets and cut down the rear guard as per pics
