xtz engine case covers?

does anyone know if the xtz750 oil pump cover is the same as the trx jobbie? ive won one off ebay but i havnt had chance to compair it to mine yet.

Part number is 3VD..... so yes, I reckon.

fitted it today and got a loud scraping noise from the engine so i stopped it straight away. one of the "webs" in the cast on the inside is slightly bigger and its wrecked the plastic oil pump gear.
i could use a dremal and grind the cast down abit tbut im gonna hold out for a proper cover and oil pump gear
so has anyone got a trx oil pump cover and a oil pump gear?

nah dont have one spare, but i used a TDM900 on mine, and it worked. Hopefully that might help you.
