fcr needle change

how do you change needles on fcrs i cant undo screws on top of slides :?: :twisted: :evil:

i have the top caps of they were allen key revealed the slides but the shiney slotted screws in top of slides wont budge

They may have some locktite on them. Try using a (clean) soldering iron on them to soften it up. Be careful though, don't want to melt anything!

didnt have soldering iron so heated up the end of screw driver on the cooker worked a beauty thanks max

Glad to hear it! :D

BTW, I just learned that little "trick" recently. I always used a heat gun, blow torch or some other over the top method on my bikes. Never dawned on me to use something more direct and not likely to cause collateral damage.

Working on RC helicopters with their zillions of tiny little locktited bolts and plastic bits is where I got the idea... :oops:
