its a metric fine thread from memory, THINK its like M12x1.25 but theres yamaha universal ones.. so anything for R1 / R6 should fit.

I recived my bobbins today and they are for R1/R6. They are M6  and won`t fit at all..

Do anybody know for sure the dimensions for the bobbins? M8, M10 or M12?

got the 1.25 thread part right :)

M8x1.25 is standard.. so just a normal 8mm bolt should fit in that instance ;)

Looks like it is M10 that I`m after..
I tried a regular bolt on the bike.

The bolt you need is the same as the rear caliper mounting bolt, but longer to accomodate the depth of the bobbin.

Please dont ask how I know...

Sanoj ...

I had a look at mine last night - I was so convinced that it was 8mm that I took the bolt out to find ...... Martin was right at 10mm -

Apologies if I've busted your parts budget for this month!!

No problem. I called the shop and told them to order M10 instead.
