after reading the solutions to derestrict a import bike buy way of desizing tab in speedo, sounds good only my trx suffed significant damage to front end and er clocks are in many bits . i have seen a pic of a lynx or similar computer onboard a trx ,so by fitting one of these,would it also bypass the restricter problem i have still got ? has anyone fitted such a device, aer the pretty straightforward , whew!!! or alternatively has someone got a set of clocks ,prefer non japaneese import ones, eith wireing cheers oak

I have a Japanese import and someone had removed the speedo, fitted a European one and the thing was restricted to hell. I fitted a 4UN ECU box and the restriction went away. I am pretty sure that you will be restricted even with the Lynx unit. Here's a link from the old site to someone who has fitted one.

Hi sorry for delay, been on holiday, it's off the european version of the TRX which is unrestricted. They appear on Ebay every now and then for about 50-60 GBP
