Hello.

I bought a TRX -96 a couple of weeks ago. When I have riden the bike for 15-30 km the bike stops. When I open the fuel lid it sucks in air in the tank. After that I can restart the bike and drive away like it have never happened. I have checked the pipe in the tank (that end up in front of the rear wheel) and it is OK (I can blow compressed air through it) and I have tryed to check the small holes in the actual lid but cant see anything out of the ordinary. Is it the actual lid that causing the troubble after all or is there any other air hose or something going into the tank.

:D The easy option would be to take off the breather hose, and look for kinks or blockages, you can route it back where you please, so long as it is not squashed by ties.

I had exactly the same fault on mine - its the fuel cap breather that'll be at fault. Theres a small ball bearing type non return valve in it under, from memory a red rubber grommet.
