Part No for the f**king bolts to the valve cover?

Post by jpe » Tue Apr 24, 2007 6:49 pm

While not by far as bad as KW's trouble or HansJ's my season doesn't look to be a good one. After fixing a leaking valve cover gasket twice without luck I went at it in good mood for the third time tonight. All's good and the new gasket fits like a glove. Starting to use my torque wrench after fitting the bolts by hand and "knick" one of the bolts says goodbye...

Obvious cause is fatigue, it didn't snap off but just gave in. And I didn't even get to the stipulated 10 Nm 's on the wrench :x

So, here I am. In desperate need of a bike for the weekend and coming courses but in just as desperate lack of time to continue this stupid mindgame with the bike.

Coming to the end of my rantings, anyone has the parts no for those bolts holding the valve cover? Those flange head bolts holding the camshafts too?
Ordering from the local dealer is just as likely to ruin me... :?

Nope, sorry. Page only has a torque spec and bolt count. Doesn't even state length. (got the manual printed and taking up space in the garage...)
