Fitting a single seat unit

How do all.

I'm thinking of buying this:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324666141689

Has anyone else bought and fitted the same?

If I do get it I'm going to cut out the seat unit and use my original seat.

The one snag I see there though is how to pop the seat off, I'm thinking of drilling the seat catch and having a cable with a ring on the end is that makes any sense?

If anyone has a better idea please share it.

Many thanks, Adam

It’s race glass and I’ve used a couple over the yrs with Hi comp foam stuck to them for some comfort.. Just means you need to unbolt them to access under the seats.
Lot easier moulding a bit of plastic over the rear seat.
Seen 1 fella used a plastic bucket to cut one out and mould the plastic with a little heat to fit over the rear seat.

I modified mine so that the key-switch (how do you call this) opens the driver seat instead of the pillion seat.

That is a good idea.
