Hi all.
I thought I would replace my original fuel tap with an aftermarket one,but I brought one with a 6mm outlet! It fits but only puts out 400mls per minute.
The original does over 1 litre per minute.
My question is would 400mls/litre be enough?
I think it sounds okay to use the new one??
I am finding it difficult to find the right fitting tap!
Any ideas??
Cheers.

Re: Another fuel tap question
If your going through a tank full of fuel in 18 minute then you got one major fuel leak... lol No complaints from others running the smaller outlet.
It’s more than likely a larger outlet due to the vaccum nature of the tap.

Re: Another fuel tap question
I thought I was asking a dumb question!
I also thought it was perhaps more about the speed of refilling the float bowls quickly when cracking open the throttle, rather than the total fuel per minute??
I'm just guessing here!!
Cheers.

Not a dumb question. If you don’t ask you don’t know and forum members are here to help each other out. I asked my own fair share of questions when I first bought a trx...
