Drive shaft Oil seal
Hi everyone, can anyone tell me I have gone to change the oil seal on the driveshaft behind the front sprocket, I have found a brown bearing cover and my actual bearing looks like an open one, on looking and speaking to Fowler’s there is no such part or replacement and the bearing should be open ??? Is this true and I just have an open bearing then the oil seal??? Much appreciated if some can help me out

Re: Drive shaft Oil seal
That's fine, it allows the oil to flow through the bearing and keeps the shaft and the oil seal lubed, if the seal were to run dry it would overheat and destroy its self.
If it's not made in China, it's a fake!
