To cut a long story short, the carbs for the wife's TRX were sent away to be professionally cleaned/re-built around 3 years ago and were only returned to the bike in January this year - everything is almost perfect, from roughly 2500 rpm it runs as sweet as a nut, idle is a wee bit rough with occasional popping in both exhausts, the gradual journey to 2500rpm from idle is a wee bit hesitant, add a tiny bit of choke when warm and it's instant death, i'm guessing it's running too rich. The air mixture screws are both at 2.25 turns out, i'd like to adjust them in slightly but how on earth do you actually get to them with a screwdriver when the bike is running?

Re: Air Mixture Screw - how, just how
Adding choke richness the mixture, the pilot air screw should be 2 turns out and the needle clip on the middle slot.
If it's not made in China, it's a fake!
