CAMSHAFT RETAINING CAPS

I know it's not best practice but if I was to use my existing cams and retaining caps on a replacement cylinder head, how likely am I to run into problems?

You should be able to switch the cams but it is wise to check the clearance.
The retaining caps belong to the head itself as it is drilled that way.

Yes, that's my thinking, but there are TRX/TDM heads out there being sold (and bought) without the cam retaining caps - seems strange that they would ever be seperated :shock:

Indeed. But a surprising amount of people are clueless.
