STARTING ISSUE

Still in the process of checking for faults but would appreciate any advice which might help pinpoint the problem. Used the bike 2 weeks ago and all was well but when I tried to start it yesterday it wouldn't start. Engine turned over as normal and the electrics seemed fine. Today I checked the plugs and both had a good spark - they were dry so it looks like a fuelling issue. I've not had the TRX for too long so I'm still finding my way round it. One thing I noticed was that fuel would run through the fuel pump even though the pump was not in operation - is this normal? Aside from checking the pump, are there any other things I should be checking which may be causing the 'sudden' starting problem?
