Derestricting (NX model )

Post by Racer-unk » Wed May 24, 2017 5:25 am

Just need a yes answer please.

Building a fun race bike. Removed Clutch switch and entire speedo housing. (stripped speedo, but grinding 180 limiter away too dicey as the dust could damage speedo functioning anyway)
Will probably put cheap aftermarket rev counter on.
Bike starts fine (can only try riding it next week)

I presume it will still cut out 7000 RPM or earlier anyway with NX standard ignition.
My question: Will Ignitech alone resolve all limit restrictions?
