From a Kawasaki GPZ900R (but they might be called differently in/on others countries/continents, something with 'ninja' etc.)

Same problem here now been soaking in WD40 for 2 days and not moving!
Gonna have to get some heat on i reckon .............
The day went so well stripping the bike down had leave engine on floor with exhaust still attached

After removing the exhaust i drilled the flanges out with 1 mm more .



Heat didn't do the trick here

I've just been through the same thing,I used loads of WD40,two small pry bars a hammer and a long socket that was just bigger than the stud diameter.And a load of patience.
Just had to keep soaking in wd,and working the collars back and forth tiny amounts prying forward and tapping back using the socket like a drift,plenty of sharp taps with a light hammer all around the collar,took around 3 hours of swearing and sweating but eventually got them off intact,but a little "bruised".

Nice shiny exhaust you have there pity mine wasn't like that don't know what to do with them once i've got them off, might have to wrap them

Then remove the studs and replace them with bolts

And then when the studs don't come out?

Given up on mine now going to cut collars off

Well after the struggle of getting them off the result of many hours of rubbing down and only 2 runs with the coarse mop this is the result, well chuffed

This has been a huge help.. got a work mate been tryin to get his off for a week to no avail. I'll try the chissel idea tomorrow and see how we go... cheers..
