Has anyone ever had, or heard of the cylinder head ground out to accept bearings for the camshaft? My camshaft looks good but the camshaft retainers are looking well past their best, given how scarce TRX's are becoming there isn't going to be an endless supply of replacement engine parts and even then there's nothing to say an eBay engine is any good.
Any thoughts?

Phil Joy, used to successfully do that to Honda motors, the run straight in the alloy head stuff is pathetic in my view, not good engineering.
