Thermo fan cut in temp

Hi
Does anyone know what temp the fan should cut in?
Ive fitted a new thermo fan switch fan still not cutting in, bridge the terminals fan is fine,

about 105 degrees, trx runs pretty cool generally so you will probably never have it come on unless you are stuck in traffic on a hot day

Just found the manual on here it should cut in at 98c and turn off at 105c. Would of thought 98 was a bit high

You have to remember that it is a pressurized system and water boils at a higher temperature under pressure (ie Not at 100°C)

Here is a thermo fan switch that I used on my TRX.
Cuts in 10* earlier at 95*c and off at 85*c
You just need to make up a terminal adapter to fit into the 2 smaller female terminals on the loom to the 2 larger blade terminals on the new switch.
Simple and very easy job....
Good if you have to deal with city stop/start traffic on your day to day rides especially in the Ozzie summer.

I replaced mine with a lower temp item, as with tuned engine I was bit worried about overheating - the engine really chucks out the heat on a hot day in traffic, it's like hugging a wood burning stove!
