about 105 degrees, trx runs pretty cool generally so you will probably never have it come on unless you are stuck in traffic on a hot day

Just found the manual on here it should cut in at 98c and turn off at 105c. Would of thought 98 was a bit high

You have to remember that it is a pressurized system and water boils at a higher temperature under pressure (ie Not at 100°C) :)
Rubber side down, Red side up is my preferred riding style.

Here is a thermo fan switch that I used on my TRX.
Cuts in 10* earlier at 95*c and off at 85*c
You just need to make up a terminal adapter to fit into the 2 smaller female terminals on the loom to the 2 larger blade terminals on the new switch.
Simple and very easy job....
Good if you have to deal with city stop/start traffic on your day to day rides especially in the Ozzie summer.

I replaced mine with a lower temp item, as with tuned engine I was bit worried about overheating - the engine really chucks out the heat on a hot day in traffic, it's like hugging a wood burning stove!
