There's no picture but it's the white plastic piece on the side of the std carbies that slowly perishes and leaks air causing issues..
I'm sure someone can expand who has experienced this with the symptoms ..
Any extra info please feel free to expand this thread..

Would anyone know where to get hold of standard carb parts? Have a crack that I've had to try and fix on the float cover where the bleed screw locates so would ideally like to replace in case my 'fix' fails.
