FCR adaption

Post by bagmaker » Wed Feb 24, 2016 8:06 am

Hi folks
When I slipped on the FCRs I just forced them into the existing rubber but it wasn't so pretty.
Is there specific boots to fit between 38/41mm FCRs and the inlet tubes? They kinda need to be a bit longer and a little kinked compared to standard?
Where does one aquire such a thing?

Cheers

The pitch should be 98mm centre to centre to match the inlet pitch.
Are the fcr's separated from a bank of 4????
Inlet spigot length is 34mm on the FCR's so the ACC pump doesn't foul against the oil tank filler.
TDM's and Ducati spigots are shorter at 26mm

Thanks Cobba, yep they are split from a 4 bank. They fit OK but would benefit from a bit more rubber length to move the carb bowls away from the oil tank. I am running pod filters.
Its the actual rubber spigots I am after, is there longer/better ones suiting FCRs or does everyone use the stock rubber spigots?

Cheers

If say 99.9% just use the std manifold rubbers.
