I've never seen Putolene oils anywhere in the UK.

Seen that pic before though.

It's a Dutch brand, don't know if they export their products.

Nothing but good comments from members that use it (we even have a member that wholesales Putoline) oilconsumption drop, smoother gearshifting, less noisier gearchanging, less friction probs with the clutch etc. etc.
I started using it last year for the first time (in the TDX and in the TRX)
can't notice any difference yet, but then again, neither the TDX or the TRX did use oil before, but with 7 euro p. litre the price is ok for me.

I have used Motul 5100 15W50 which makes the TRX engine rumblings relatively quiet and it doesn't seem to burn any between changes. I guess it's always personal preference but the TRX needs a good quality oil so go with proper motorcycle specific brands. Good luck with the change. :D

Denicol seems to be a brand that works well with the TDM/TRX too.
Less oilconsumption.

I use Putoline, cant say if the oilconsumption dropped coz mine doesnt burn oil between the oilchanges.

Most people seem to use Motul 5100 in either 15/50 or 20/50.
It seems to be quite widely available in the UK.
Some of the mail order firms do it too.
I have used it in mine for last 2 years and its fine. I did use another brand which gave me bother on hot days with gear changes so would
recommend the Motul on the basis that i have never had that trouble again

Shifty,
Is this full synth or semi synth
According to the advertising blurb its a "Synthetic blend"
and uses "ester synthetic base stock".
Truth is i dont know. Think its the 15/50 i have been using as the local stockist doesnt keep the 20/50.
