Re: My YZF swinger....
Don't know when I'll see the bike next time, so I can't promise any measures, byt will post asap. Just a thought, the left/right differs with 4 mm, You haven't mixed them up or?

Re: My YZF swinger....
First thing i thought of (for me that´s a hey!! top!) and as they are different outer size they only fit one side.....but if they WOULD fit other way around the line would be another 4mm out as the rear sprocket would be even more to the left....HansJ wrote:Don't know when I'll see the bike next time, so I can't promise any measures, byt will post asap. Re: My YZF swinger....
So, my thought are these now....
TRX caliper mount is 28mm and YZF 32mm, so i drill the TRX up to 28mm inside to take the spindle and then add those 4mm on the left....with something...spacers...
Then i should be good just adding a very thin spacer on the front sprocket.
What´s your thoughts on that? .....i´ll ask the question as i´m far from a mechanic....

Re: My YZF swinger....
Just a very quick update....
Brake line up with disc...seems as the old setting is bedded into the calipers or something wich makes them put more pressure on one side and then go warm and then seize completely.
If dry tomorrow i will do the 35km to work and see if i fixed it earlier tonight...

Re: My YZF swinger....
Any updates??HansJ wrote:I had no probs with standard sprockets with the YZF wheel (I guess it's an YZF at least). But the Marvic wheels seem to be a touch wider, causing the same problem. I bought chain/sprockets from AFAM, the front sprocket was dished, so putting it in the "wrong" way I gained a little, but I had to add two of the locking washers on the inside of the sprocket. Now it's about right... One thought, which spcaers are You using for the YZF wheel? Dimensions? I can have a look later in the week what dimensions mine have.
I see you wrote you turned your FRONT wheel more towards the engine....that´s the opposite of my problem...
Front sprocket is OUT 6mm....need to get the rear to the right....towards center.

Try B&C Express. They'll make you whatever you like... Or get your carrier turned down.Killerwhale wrote:Ohh CRAP.

Re: My YZF swinger....
sorry, no real updates. Read my post again, I have the same problem, my front sprocket has been moved from the engine, with the help of the washers and turning the sprocket. don't know when i can get any measurements, vacation and lots of obligations... Solution for You depends on whether the wheel itself is centered or not. The rim is 0.5 '' wider, so a certain extra width has been added. If the wheel is aligned, do as Honk says (or turn down the sprocket, or order a special sprocket, don't need to order from abroad, there are a couple of companies that can make specials). If the wheel isn't centred, you cfan take some material off the brake carrier's 'outside'.
