Steering Stem Removal

I'm looking for a engineering company who can press out the trx stem and refit in a r6 yoke around the peterborough/cambs/northants area, I spoke to Bsd race developements told to ring next month to see if they can fit it in
Anyone know of any good engineering companys

Just had mine done (trx stem in a yzf yolk) at balderstone bmw in peterborough

ok it was done on the "nudge nudge wink wink" cos steve one of the mechanics is a friend but they have a press out back that did the job fine

he did it for free for me but i cant see why they wouldnt do it for a small fee

there all real healpfull down there and at the mo really quiet so should be able to get it done quickly

I might nip in balderstones tomorrow as will be travelling thro peterborough to a job, thanks for the info, when i spoke to bsd i got the feeling that they really werent interested they said that python engineering in whittlesey might be able to do it,

if u are parking there is a cock ... normally there's a space round back but if not dont put it on double yellows as the wardens there seem to appear out of nowhere

quick up date
I managed to get locked out of this site for a while due to spambots so heres an update
I took stem to maniac motorcycles (holbeach) in the end it cost less than £100 to get stem pushed out and fitted to r6 yokes with spacers,a set of R6 05 bars and machining to brakes/wheel/forks to line up. The biggest problem was using 02 r6 front wheel with 05 forks (05 hub is 3mm smaller) which caused problems with discs the catching brake calipers, its now all bolted in to the trx but haven't been out on it yet due to work, got a phone call today to say my yzf750 swingarm with 02 r6 wheel and custom rear hanger is ready so hopefully pick them up soon, I will hopefully post pics when complete

Pressing the stem out is fairly easy. I did a swap with '00 R1 t'clamps in under 1hr. The R1 stem is slightly bigger, so when i tried to put the TRX stem in the bottom t'clamp, it was like slide fit rather than press.. Light knurl + loctite fixed that issue right up. Dunno how the R6 would go, possibly the same issue ?
