Oh dogshit!!!
Wonder what that could be then or maybe its one of those mind tricks where if it was reading hotter then it seemed to feel hotter???
Never actually made a thing of feeling the hoses and that for temperature.

Another quick question.... I'm getting a ticking sound most audible between 3000 and 4000rpm. Is it normal for these engines to tick, or is there something I should be looking for?
I've just checked the receipts and the valve clearences were actually done at 37000km (now 48K km). Can they go out in 10K km?

If the valves are ticking they have clearance and are therefore healthy. Or is it the camchain?

Hmmm you'll have to educate me, so when the valve train wears do the clearences get closer or further apart?
Sorry for all the questions

As the valve train wears the clearances close up. The problem comes when there is no clearance left, and the valve cannot close fully.

Just had my mechanic listen to the engine and he believes it's all normal and is actually one of the quieter Trixers out there
