I have just serviced the Rex and it's developed an oil leak. It was a full change with filter so I put about 3.5 ltrs of oil in.
Have I over filled it, doesn't appear so on the window or has it developed a leak?
Would it be from the Cam chain tensioner or the Oil feed pipe ?
Any clues would be helpfull.
Thanks.

Hi, How much old oil came out? Did you empty both drain plugs?
Cheers, Andy.
Just looked at your bike spec and i may have asked a silly question.

No such thing as a silly question.
yep done it once or twice before with no issues
The oil level is between the marks on the case so the over filling thing is out.

Start it and try find the leak, dry and if its out again it´s there.
I always crosscrew the filter in...it can tilt otherwise....
You should easily get 4l of oil in there with a filter change...

As the cam chain tensioner and the lower oil feed connection is below the oil filler inlet...I'd suggest you've spilt some oil when filling the inlet.

It turned out to be the Cam chain tensioner gasket. New on made. Job done. Thanks
