Anodizing, plating tips and tricks

Post by Yoozy » Thu May 09, 2013 7:19 pm

Chaps and chapettes, I'm keen to do some of my own anodizing/plating. Thinking of doing the fork tubes a nicer shade of gold and the yokes black, that kind of thing :) I've been researching ont tinterweb and it looks pretty easy really, and theirs kits for 60-100 quidish on egay.
Anyone done any and can give us a few pointers :P

Cheers.

only dabbled in zinc coatings and it is essential to get to get the current correct to get a good even coverage. obviously practice and a lot of old stuff till you get it right.
