TRX 850 swingarm bearing suzes

Post by robi_kihm@yebo.co.za » Mon Jan 28, 2013 8:18 am

Hi , looking for the id , od , length etc of the TRX 850 swingarm bearings.

Here in good old south africa , Yamaha agents either do not have or charge a fortune for TRX parts , so hoping
to source from a normal bearing place BUT need the sizes ....

Anyone , please ?

Thanks :)

do a search on the forum for bearing sizes, or have a look in the Tech / Trouble Questions section

They are caged needle roller bearings and if you have the swingarm out the size is etched on the cage. You`ll have to likely degrease them to see it, as for length, it`s not too important because they have plenty of `free space` in the swingarm between them so it`s really inside and outside diameters you`re looking for.
A good bearing supplier will be able to track some down for you as I`m certain they`ll be generic metric caged needle roller bearings.
The TRX ones are like these:

Simply Bearings in the UK are a great company by the way folks.
