Nice. Aparently the import model is suppose to speed cut at 180km/h
Ive been well past 180 , i know my clock only says 180. so how do i know ,
well it never speed cut i continued to pick up speed after \80 and i had it
wound off so long it took a while to come back down off 180.

Re: StreetFighter/ removing standard cluster installing digi
So, if it revs past 7k and speeds past 180kmh then there cant be a restriction on it?
Doing the TPS bypass modification i fugured out will set the ignition to full advance and raise the rev limit to 10k UNLESS there is a restrictor inside the Japanese spec CDI?
Basically, you're gonna rip the clocks off anyway, so do it and then we can deal with anything that occurs afterwards, if it happens

Exactly,
also heres catch 22 the rev counter on a digital has to be adjusted to suit has settings in the
digital speedo itself to help correct rev to display accurately.
So if it for the reasons above rev limits to 6k rpm , then its just gana F#%k with me getn it
sorted and set right.
Does any1 know what cdi numbers are non import and import bike with restrcition .
mine reads
4nx-82305-00
131800-6320
12v TNDF23 Y
and its in orange .

Re: StreetFighter/ removing standard cluster installing digi
Hi Jordy, mine is a 1996 black on black aus spec.
numbers are
4UN-82305-01------------[in green]
131800-6691---------------------------------i put this line on as it will come up as a phone number as yours did
12v TNDF32--D----------[in green]
so the top figures are in the green coloured label on the sticker, and the [D] is also lower on the sticker and coloured green as well...
