I picked up this tip from the TDM boys.
sick of sloppy freeplay in the clutch cable, i found this tip from Carpe TDM.
You put a compression spring on the outside at the clutch arm end.
I used a CSW C205 spring with an I.D. of 12.7mm x wire thickness of 1.25mm x length of 76.2mm.
works a treat.
cheers

EDIT : i have cut two coils off the adjuster end, as it was just a bit too heavy thus giving no freeplay at the lever and requiring a full handspan approach to the clutch making it a chore in traffic.
