I wanted to replace my sparkplugs with some new Iridium ones & after reading some of the other posts on here about it being a "pain in the arse" to do had set aside a few hours of tomorrow morning to lose some skin etc whilst doing it.
Decided to make a start on stripping off fairing etc this evening & dropped radiator forward - hmmm, there's the plugs easily accessible already! - using the factory plug spanner had the new plugs fitted in no time. Total time taken was just over an hour & a quarter - this including drinking a cuppa & having a run around the block to test it afterwards. (Also double checking everything twice - damn you O.C.D!! )
Thanks to everyone on here that has posted tips & advice etc - makes it heaps easier to do these sorts of jobs for the "non qualified" mechanics amongst us.
Sparkplug replacement - no problems!
