I`ve tried to search the forum but didn`t find any answers so here goes...

What should the tire pressure be when I have 120/60 front and 180/55 back?

... to use as a guide to find what you're comfortable with :D

I use 32 in the front and 34 in the back on my TRX, but that's on standard tyre sizes and is psi, not bar ;)

The book says 35psi front, 40 rear. That suits me (15 stone), otherwise you can feel the rear tyre start to squirm.

I run 32 front 35 rear standard size Metzler tyres.
I think your weight would have some influence on what pressures you run. (not that I would have any idea what you weigh but, you git wot I mean)

I always wondered who would use that weird psi scale. But of course, people from the UK... I should have known better.

I run front 2,4 and back 2,6 bar (120/70 & 180/55).

Stuff the book  Use it as a guide and make your own choices, but I'm only 10 stone* ;)

* about 64kg for the European types out there :D

It's good old Imperial measurements that let me know what a pint is when I order it, not some namby-pamby 33cl girls' size! Anyway, the "bar" isn't a proper SI unit; and millibars ought to be known as hectopascals!

Nevertheless I agree; it's disgraceful that we in the UK aren't fully metricated yet, since UK school kids think (if at all!) in metres, not yards, let alone rods, poles, perches, chains and furlongs.

But it would be quite nice if one's imperial tachometer measured fractions of a mile in eighths, as each eighth of a mile is a furlong!

 I like imperial measurements! I can catch perch with my pole or rod depending on what I decide to use, however I put them back not like our eastern european friends who eat them!
Furlongs are horse racing lengths, you going to take your rex over Aintree then?

I recall hearing from somewhere or other that the metric system was in fact a Napoleonic trick to confuse those pesky poms.
Is that right or just a urban myth.
