tyre size for front 120/60/17

Hi,

After a pair of tyres for my trx, notice busters are doing a pair of avon viper sport /supersport for £109.95. Only problem is, the front is 120/60/17, as oppose to 120/70/17 anyone know if these will work ok, on the front ?

the rear of the pair is a 160.60.17 which is the correct fitment ?

Need to get these today....

Standard fitment for TRX front is actually 120/60 anyway, although most other bikes (R6 etc) take a 120/70 fornt as standard.
My bike had a 120/60 for ages and the're fine. I swapped to 120/70 and I find them better.
You'll probably find most poeple on here are running a 120/60 anyway.
160/60 is correct for the rear.

i run a 120/70 on the front and i find it turns better than it did with the 120/60,, and i will be giving the michelin 2ct,s a go next

Hmm, not sure I agree with you there! I think 120/60 is better.
