DIY: mount the engine in the frame without scratching any...

Post by HansJ » Tue May 22, 2007 8:24 am

Well, I don't have a clue, but maybe somebody here has some good tips? I had a hydraulic carjack, two car-tripods and a sturdy luggagestrap with a "spanner". It wasn't easy, but after a lot of fiddling I managed pretty well, I think. There must be smoother ways?

In the factory they put the frame onto the engine rather than the engine into the frame.
