Hi , I need a TRX yoke stem and nuts, and am finding it hard to find any for sale. Question is was the same stem used on any other Yamaha ?

Re: Yoke stem
FZR600 4JH (foxeye) model has the same stem as the TRX850, however it is welded at the bottom to the steel lower yoke at the bottom. With a bit of careful cutting / machining I guess it would be possible to remove the stem from the yoke. They are also very cheap secondhand.

Re: Yoke stem
Thanks for the info. I found a cheap TDM bottom yoke and stem, which I bought to see. and like the FZR600 unit it was welded. so after measuring up , seemed to be the same. Grinding off the bottom until the stem was showing a line all around the bass. Pressed out the stem. and glued and double pinned into the bottom yoke I was using to the correct Hight. This has worked well and is now fitted into the TRX frame.
