I have uploaded to Thingiverse, a design to print the Air-cut Cover for the STD carbies, search under TRX850.
The finish will depend on where and who does the printing for you, I have used both my local library (South Australia) and a 3d Hub member, the library is cheaper, while you have more control with the 3d Hub member.
I have tested with one of my older designs as in the photo, it worked fine.
Print at least 50% solid for strength and in ABS for fuel resistance. Black is better for UV resistance.

Nice work!
What was the printer you used Dave? I spend around 25% of my time doing Solidworks and Turbocad 3D design and have been thinking about buying a printer for my own use - my boss is too stingy to buy one for us to use for prototyping.

The library has a Makerbot I think, I don't have one myself, the 3d Hub member has several, can't remember which brands he has.
