Great day for a ride in the great Aussie countryside

Some pics of todays ride. Ridgi, Ekoja and myself in Northern New South Wales. Didn't see the boys in blue once. 280km, waited an hour for breakfast and still back before lunch.

Nice pics. Glen, how much were the SuperTrapps and where did you get them from? Used to have a ST on my brother's KLX250 (1st model) - didn't go fast but sounded nice!

I had a ST on my IT175E... Yes, we did use them on two strokes... Stupid idea now that I think about it. With the oil/carbon build up on the plates, performance decreased by the mile.

To be honest Bob, Ekoja and I did a swap. He lives in a gated community (not in jail) and the noise was a bit load for the other residents. He also complained about ringing in his ears after a long ride. I live in the country so we did a swap. Mind you, my old cans YAMCANS were modified and I can't really hear the difference. The ST are a bit more "fluttery" if that's an apt description. The throttle response speaks for itself though. Fuel consumption about the same although it does struggle at full throttle on hills - I think it's leaning out :( Next job on the list to look at the carbs and emulsion tubes.
