Deep in winter sleep it's too cold I'm too old to even think of track days. A faint ringing in my ears . What is that sound. " Hello what do you mean by disturbing my hibernation . What your going to the island , pigs arse not with out me" That's how easy it is to get trapped by mates. October it will probably be piss'n down with rain in fickle Island fashion but it might also be a clear no wind , ball tearing , tyre eating perfect island day. Can't take that chance of missing that. Better go and say g,day to the bike , find a fuel tin and kick the little trackie into life. If I was a poetic little poofta I would be thinking like a spring flower getting ready to open for another season.
That's my pitch , any other little spring flowers out there want to come and play.

I remember back in the days of racing and pit crewing for a mate on a GP250. We drove 4000klm round trip to get to Philip and race in what seemed close to a cyclone... Thank phuck the beer was cold!
