Cadwell £39

Post by Silver » Thu Oct 09, 2008 2:34 pm

Focused events have come up with a new idea for autumn events. On 4th Nov they are holding a "Dry trackday" for £39 (full day).
Aparently if there is a 25% chance of rain beforehand the event is put back a week, and again and if still wet on the third try you get a credit note.
I know i have said i am not supposed to be doing any more this year but i might be able to get this one past er what must be obeyed.

Yep, interesting!

Even without the "wet" thing, £39 for a day at Cadders is good value.

Will be dark at 5pm by then, so probably only 4 sessions, but ... hmm!

Could afford that out the bike 'slush fund' without having to bother 'er-indoors.

They are obviuosly feeling the pinch like everyone else. I got an email from one of the trackday guys offering a Silverstone day for £75!!

http://www.focusedevents.com/index.asp

...look under the news heading "Dry weather days" for explanation of how it works..

...Then book by clicking on the date on the left, in the usual way.

Probably get more than 4 sessions: basically I was just saying that the day ends earlier in the autumn as it gets dark quicker. more like 6 sessions?

 better tax my bike .... or find a car with a towbar and then hire a trailer!
