Lincoln - Carpe/CMC meet

the TDMers organised a get together and ride outs up in Lincoln

didnt have my TDM here in Essex with me as i needed the car this weekend
(cant fit a spare engine in the top box )

so got home at 22:30 on friday night and decided to reassemble my TRX
finished at 01:00 then wired in Hutchs satnav unit and went for a test ride, finally crashed out at 03:30

up at 07:30 for the usual 3Ss and meeting in Grantham at 10:30
just me and hutch on TRXs, the rest were TDMs and a coulple of random others

sidestand(mick) from carpe organised a great route with lots of different variations in types
fast stuff sweepers etc, some great technical flicky stuff, etc etc
a really good route, t'was a lot of fun

i wont bore you with the non-TRX shots. take a butchers at the link above if you're interested

doh, sorry mate i knew i should have posted it up here
i'm guessing its gonna be a yearly thing...
Stormy was there too, but on his TDM
there are a few guys on Carpe who have TRXs as sunny day toys

meself & hutch did nearly 450miles yesterday, i ache luck a bassid today
that would have been a short day for the TDM but i'm just not used to spending that long on the TRX

next weekend is 'Snowjoke V', its a CMC(commuters motorcycle club)/Carpe boys weekend away in Wales
i'll put a post up in the UK section

it was a really graet days ride, tonydevil and i covered around 450 miles, and all 450 of them was fun, defo want to do that route again as they have some lovely roads in Lincoln

forgot to add a thank you to youngy....

those ohlins fork springs have totally transformed the feel of the bike
where before i didnt have the confidence to throw the bike into a corner, its now so planted its great
it should be able to match my TDMs performance now

glad you liked them Tony. They do make a big difference. now buy my mudguard.............
