Yep, great shots!

Looks like Kooki wins the prize for the "biggest air" over the mountain though, unless Phuky Pete has got one to beat it... ?

Bet you had a great day: still really pi55ed off I couldn't make it.

Nice one! 8)

WTF, I only see TRX's with loose front wheels? I thought it was a track day, not a wheely course!
Is it the track going up and down or is every TRX just... a beast? :laughing6:
Awesome pics!

At Cadwell there is a very steep hill called "The Mountain"
difficult to keep the front wheel down as you crest the hill.
Even i can get it up!

I was there as well :D

First time at Cadwell - gotta say the place scares the shite out of me and is probably the most physical circuit I've ever been to (I still ache tday). Also requires a lot of learning - Dave proved that knowing the circuit and being snooth is key to a fast lap. It took me 4 laps of following him to pass him and then I promptly ran onto the grass

"The Mountain" is a fairly steep rise out of a right-hand corner taken in second or third gear (depending on your final drive gearing...). There is a bump before the actual crest of the rise, which means once you get to the actual crest the bike will take off. Most race bikes will just jump the crest (i.e. both wheels off the ground) with a little work, or if your name is Rob Frost or Shane Byrne. :D

This is a bit of a pain if you're racing, as obviously you aren't putting a lot of power down flying through the air or doing a 60 degree wheelie!

So even a C90 will wheelie over it, which is not to take anything away from our brave TRXers, of course! 8)

Now what comes next is better... Hall Bends are wicked on a TRX!

Here's one of my favourite photos I managed to get Shakey to autograph it when I met him after the season ended (hence the #1). Apologies for the crap quality, my scanner was rubbish at the time.

:? Was that the year he lost the chain on the mountain?. For our overseas riders, due to Mr Byrnes athletic leap, a slightly loose chain on landing tends to miss the rear cog, thus falling off and giving no drive!
