Silverstone GP - 5th November - £69

Post by phuk72 » Mon Oct 22, 2007 12:05 pm

Or only £50 if you did Mallory on 19th October  . £50 FFS - I can't say no for that sort of money

Full noise, full GP circuit, bring it on.

I'm booked in Inters.

Mate,

I'm up for this, but gonna hold back til nearer the time and check the weather. I'll still try and get the £50 deal, but it's cheap at £69.

Gamble is that it's full, but I'll risk it.

So, may see you there!

Dave

I'm taking the chance and have booked for £50. Take a chance on the weather for that price. Have gone for Group 1 as its a wide and fast track.
Need to get the new tyres on for that.

Good man.

I think group 1 is probably a good idea. As you say, it's fast and wide enough for passing to be easy if you are the fastest in the group. Also, this time of year tends to scare off true novices and so the groups tend to be fast so you may be swamped in Inters?

Checked today and only had 4 places left, so went for it: group 1 and got the £50 deal.

Don't worry - I'll have the car there to take home any smashed up fairings and bits (again  )

Unfortunately, the motorcycle days use the stupid bloody chicane before the pit straight.

Great day guys, I like that track a lot!!

Shame the light went and we didn't get one more session in the afternoon: I'd just about got the track sussed by then...

...and a shame it rained and blew a gale on the way home: got bloody soaked :(

Excellent day :D

Only photo I got was on my phone: the guy in 'second' place in the snap is you, Phuk! Pretty sure you 'ad 'im down the home straight though !!

Likewise, brilliant day. Really suprised how good the TRX went round such a big lap. Rode round the outside of no end of bikes thanks to the confidence i got from these new tyres. I will want to go there again.
Shame about the ride home, nearly got blown off the road!
