...some nice footage of Knockhill on that link too, Phuk.

I want one of these now too!

The Oregon ATC2000 one seems to be the popular choice, but I've see them on t'internet at £78, a lot less than the £100 on the Firefox site.

The main problem with the oregon camera is wind noise . I will check out if it's possible to use a plug in mic with'm , the pic quality from what I've seen is still average , maybe I'm aiming too high . I should have knocked off Dani's camera when I had his bike BUGGER

Depends what you want really.

I just wanted cheap and cheerful so that I could record a bit of on bike footage which is why I bought what I did. I intend to get another bullet cams so I can forward and rear facing and then merge them together.

Wind noise is a bit of a pain but you can just overlay music or just not worry about it.

But what I love most is that they are self contained units - no wires, no need for external power etc.

Problem is cost goes up very quickly if you go much beyond these type of bullet cams.

Or maybe my expectatiosn are low?

phuk72 I was looking at old PIsland footage I did with a pencil camera the pict is ok added to the sound mic in the ducks arse it is good . As you say I ran cables and power supplies ets , pain to set up . I will look at you tube and try to show it . Even thou I ran it to a sony hc30 camera which was always a problem if I crashed , bloody camera is worth more than my bike , I like the idea of the remote locations of a camera ( oregon ) . I used 2 plug in cameras wired thru a switch on the handle bars so i could change views will riding . Works well except for the cheap cameras.

Just had a look at video footage done with Oregon camera by swifty on his R6 at Broadford . Picture quality is very good , sound is ok may need to cover the mic with foam to reduce wind which wasn't too bad , could hear the exhaust note fairly well . He had the camera switch itself off similar to peter850 comments . It was the first outing with the camera so we don't know yet if it will be a problem mounted to the bike as opposed to mounting on the helmet , has anyone here brought one yet , any problems

As usual I'm a late starter with technology, but I'd like to get a camera set up for myself - something to show the grandkids when I reach "the older I am, the faster I was stage".

Watched phuk's Mallory footage - and had a laugh at Max's comments, but I guess what I'm after is a conclusion. Which is the best value system to use? Or did I have an OOOSDC moment?
