Oran Park GP circuit ride day Saturday 6th October

Post by Triton » Sat Jul 14, 2007 8:50 am

Circuit Breakers day at OP. Cost normally $140... TRX or Aprilia (or Guzzi if you own an MGS-01! 8) ) owners just $102 excluding pit garage. Garages are $110 each, so with 10 of us that's just $11 extra each so let's do it! 8)
Please get back to me asap with Y or N so I can get an idea of numbers. If we get enough takers I'll organise a lunch FOC. :D

Hi Triton,
I just want to make sure my bike is sorted before i confirm; i guess its a couple of months off so everything should be sweet. Count me as 90% sure.

When do you need to know at the latest Mark? Trouble is the very next day is Maria's 40th. I'll have to find out what plans she has for that weekend. Might be able to sneak out for a few hours and take photo's. How much is it to get in for spectators?

Isn't it always the way. I've got nuffin' doing for weeks either side of that weekend :x

That's OK Terry. Any more takers? I need to confirm and pay a month in advance to get the cheap rates so I'll give you to 31 Aug to book. Cash on the day will be fine - I've organised an Italian style lunch for us so firm numbers of both riders and spectators (if coming for lunch) needed by 30 Sep. Looking forward to the day. Cheers,

Mark.

Cool Olputt...

Guys, I won't know which pit garage we have until the morning of the day itself - I'll try for as near to the pit exit end as possible.

FYI - Oran has a fuel pump which sells PULP. It SOMETIMES opens at liunchtime during ride days. However I shall take a 20L jerry can for anyone who gets short of motion lotion. There is a servo about 5 kms away next to the Narellan Maccas. I'll also take stands, tools, chain lube, Mr Sheen for visors, rags etc.

Now, what I need is your estimation of your ability:

A: Fast
B: Medium
C: Slow-medium.

Thanks.

I'll be riding with touring tyres in my raincoat (dryrider stuff) so i will be knees up and head down - B?

What options do we have to move between levels on the day?

Hey - thanks for putting this together Triton!
