Hi Dave

Does it have to be taxed and insured i.e. fully road legal?

Have put the road parts back on my Tuono (but it's not on the road yet) and need to get out on track again so may consider it.

What's the cost for the day?

Phil

Phil, I think if you have a registration and put the lights on it should be ok. I shall be taking the trx on the trailer. I did ride it to Cadwell a couple of weeks ago, was damn uncomfortable and it used gallons of fuel. I filled up in horncastle on the way up then it ran on to reserve about 100 miles later and just about chugged into a petrol station.
Its With MSV in assosiation with Bike magazine and its £105.
I was thinking of doing it on the bmw, may still do that but prefer to use the TRX.
All the best
Dave
PS The canadian Lanc is in the UK now and will be touring with BBMF lanc, but you prob knew that. Should be around woburn on sunday, then up to Sywell.

Thnx Dave

I will see what I can do with limited annual leave. I would definitely be trailering up there anyway even with lights and plates attached.

I am heading to Eastbourne 'Airborne' event this weekend and should get to see both Lancaster's in the air over the seafront. Have yet to check the flying list but may be lucky to see the Vulcan again. Heard while I was away 'en France' that the pier burnt down a week ago; bit of a big hit for a seaside town but there are plans to rebuild it (not that I am a big fan of piers).

What are you two like? ........Honestly

I'm bloody tempted. Would be great to let mine off the leash, and have a catch up....but it's 158 miles each way to NR16 2JU. Knowing my luck it would slash down all day too.

Have great time Guys.

Ps.
Second Thoughts.
If you get 2 more forum members to book it on their TRX's then I'll go. Well the gauntlet is thrown down :D . Could be the most Trx's on track together in the Northern Hemisphere.

Mark.

Come on mark, you know you want to. I just did Anglesey coastal and that was 200miles away. Only trouble is, Phil (mrdimwiddy) isnt on a trx anymore,
so we would need another two now! Looks like your get out of jail free card!.

I'm not a definite yet for Snetterton Mark so you have time to think about it. I am also fearful of rain after a recent wet day at Brands. Pleased you managed to collect your remaining TRX parts by the way.

If I go I'll let you both out for a few laps on the Tuono; that may however tempt you to defect

Dave, I really do want to. How are we doing rounding up one or two more Trx brethren. There must be loads living closer to Snetterton than me.

Phil, I now seem to have so many spares for my Trx that I could keep it going for all eternity
Thanks for the bits and pieces, though I'm running out of space here.

I could let you have a go on the Trx and YOU might defect .....
It is running superbly.

I have a dyno session at the same place on Mon. I'm hoping for a little more everywhere. I'll post up the graphs.

Mark.

Cheers Brian, I think the peak may lift a small amount but I'm hoping for even more in the mid range :D .
I'll let you all know how it went.

Mark.

I got the TRX up and running again today. When i went to Anglesey it wouldn't start. Managed to bypass the starter button and hot wire it so managed to do the day. Bought a new starter solenoid but no difference. Tested everything i could think of and decided it must be the 11 pin multifunction relay, tested that and it said it was duff, but i'm not that confident with electric's. Bought a new one and hey presto we are back in business. Been out for a blast on it this morning, so it will be the trx for sure at snetterton.
I have also raised the ride height, moved the rear sets up another 10mm and inwards by about 12mm so hopefully that should give me a bit more ground clearance. Also replaced the knackered supercorsa on the back with a Maxxis supermax sport. Jury is out on that at the moment.

Dave

Can't make the 28th Aug I am afraid.

Have booked Snetterton 300 on Sun Sept 21st with MSV (£119). Have gone for the fast group for a change.

Bedford Tues 7th Oct is probable at £65.

Not sure what your plans are to finish the year but I am certain we will meet up at some point.
